Guided by lived experience and evidence-based practices, the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City, Inc. (NAMI-NYC) helps families and individuals affected by mental illness build better lives through education, support, and advocacy.
We’re Here For You
1 in 5 live with mental health challenges, and The Other 4™ are family and friends. We are ALL impacted by mental illness.
Your Support Matters
Dealing with mental illness is not easy – not for the person with the illness, nor for the people in their life.
Your generous gift makes hope possible!
Resource of the Month:
Connection Corner (Teen Support Group)
A support group for teens ages 14-18 living with mental health challenges, facilitated by near peers (someone close in age with lived experience). This group is a safe space to develop coping skills, share common experiences, build self-advocacy skills, and connect with others who truly understand. Join us every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 PM and Wednesdays from 7-8 PM.
