NAMI-NYC has been an important cause for Josh and his family from the time their close friend, Nathan Romano, became involved. Since participating in the first NAMIWalks with Nathan, NAMI-NYC has also become increasingly personal to Josh, as members of his own family have been touched by mental illness. He’s particularly interested in helping to reduce the stigma among parents of young children affected by it.
Josh is the Co-Head of Alpine Credit, Co-Portfolio Manager of the MSD Alpine Credit Opportunity Fund, and a Managing Director of MSD Partners. Previously, he was a Managing Director on the High Yield and Distressed Sales team at J.P. Morgan from 2002-2019. He began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert and Jefferies & Co., and later held a senior position at Bear Stearns.
Josh received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan and the London School of Economics.
