Mitul’s passion for mental health stems from watching his brother struggle with schizophrenia for 20+ years in the face of a suboptimal mental health care system and deep societal stigma. Mitul has deep respect for NAMI’s multi-pronged approach across advocacy, grassroots community building, and public education. As a proud New Yorker, he is excited to help New York City become a leader in innovative mental health programs.
