My name is Kara and I am a NYC-based writer, artist, and dog mom. I have personally dealt with anxiety and depression, and am passionate about ending the stigma around mental illness as well as advocating for better access to mental health resources for all. That’s why I am excited and honored to be part of team NAMI-NYC for the 2022 New York City Marathon. This will be my first first full marathon.
