I became involved with NAMI-NYC while in college at Santa Clara University, organizing panels to educate students on the different types of mental health disorders and how to seek help for yourself or someone else. Having a father who had type I bipolar disorder and eventually took his life, I am motivated to educate and help those find the proper resources and support. I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and currently live in Denver. I work for Guild Education, an education opportunity platform that sends Fortune 500 frontline workers to college for free. I am excited to run my first marathon and raise money for a meaningful cause!
