Financial planning can become complicated when someone has a disability. For example, it may be challenging to plan for the expenses associated with your own and/or your family member’s care while also making sure that eligibility for benefits isn’t affected. However, there are financial and legal tools – such as special needs trusts – that can make it easier. Join us to hear from a wealth management advisor and an elder law attorney about the options available and the pros and cons of each.
