Losing a loved one to suicide is devastating. On top of this, many loss survivors feel unable to discuss or be open about their experiences, leading to isolation and shame. But it doesn’t need to be this way.
Join NAMI-NYC and Samaritans NYC for a moderated discussion between panelists who have lost someone close to them to suicide. We hope to show how people can find strength in sharing experiences, highlighting both differences and similarities, and highlighting the ongoing nature of the journey. Spanish and ASL interpretation + automatic captioning will be provided.
