My name is Gabriella Jimenez and I grew up in San Diego, California. I have always been super active and played division 1 field hockey at the University of California, Berkeley before graduating and moving to New York. My whole life I have especially loved running, which is why I am so excited to be running the NYC Marathon with NAMI-NYC. NAMI-NYC’s mission to help the family and friends of those affected by mental health as well as reduce the stigma that surrounds it is a worthy cause I hold near and dear to my heart.
