When the world first met Emmy Award-winning multi-platinum artist and singer-songwriter, Rachel Platten, it came in the form of a proclamation of self: “Fight Song” became a global sensation, an inescapable battle cry that’s now been streamed more than a billion times and is as inextricable to modern culture as any one song could be. What followed was a debut major label album, Wildfire, and its hotly anticipated follow-up, 2017’s Waves.
Rachel has so much more to give and say, and so many more selves to show. A mother of two and an artist as textured and rich as you’ll ever find, Rachel has spent the years since “Fight Song” building a foundation upon which she’s growing a powerful artistic legacy. Having toured the world as both a headliner and special guest for legendary artists like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Pentatonix, she’s brought her uniquely singular songwriting to adoring audiences everywhere.
Having just released her newest record I Am Rachel Platten, Rachel continues her mission of “integrating the dark and the light in myself,” she says; it’s a body of work that achieves a musical goal of “reconnecting people to their identity, their truth, their purpose, and their power.”
