Hearing on Mayor Adam’s Involuntary Removal and Hospitalization

Join NAMI-NYC and speakers from NYC Council Progressive Caucus Members, CCIT-NYC, NYLPI, Community Access, New York City Justice Peer Initiative, NYAPRS, Public Advocate’s Office and more as we rally to roll back the City’s mental health directive increasing the scope and authority of police to involuntarily hospitalize New Yorkers they perceive to be mentally ill. We need to call on the Mayor and our elected officials to invest in mental health supports and related services for Black, Latinx, and other communities of color.
