Suicide Prevention for Non-Clinicians

Everyone plays a role in reducing the number of suicides to zero. This session will promote the ability of non-clinical personnel to identify people at risk for death by suicide and respond appropriately by helping them get needed services. Among other topics, the session will review risk and protective factors, warning signs, and will introduce a well-researched screening tool non-clinicians can use to guide intervention.
